5.16 – Loading Indicator

Type
Type property is used to determine the type of the loading indicator. There are two types of built in, ready to use loading indicators, Smooth and Stepped. Also when you want to design your own indicator you can set Type to Custom.

Image
You can drop any texture to Image property. If Smooth or Stepped is selected as type, Image will be read only.

Scale Mode
Scale Mode property is used to determine how the image will be stretched or resized. There are 3 Scale Modes that you can use.

  • Stretch To Fill
  • Scale And Crop
  • Scale To Fit

Alpha
Alpha property is used to determine whether to use alpha transparency or not.

Aspect Ratio
Aspect Ratio property is used to override the original aspect ratio of the image. When Aspect Ratio is set to zero then the original aspect ratio of the image will be used. Aspect Ratio property is effective only if Scale And Crop or Scale To Fit selected as Scale Mode. If Smooth or Stepped is selected as type, Aspect Ratio will be read only.

Rotate Direction
Rotate Direction property is used to determine the rotating direction of the indicator. If Smooth or Stepped is selected as type, Rotate Direction will automatically modify Aspect Ratio value.

Rotation Speed
Rotation Speed property is used to determine the rotating speed of the indicator.

Rotation Steps
Rotation Steps property is used to determine the number of steps that the indicator need to complete a full rotation. You can think Rotation Steps as the number of bars in the indicator image. If Rotation Steps is set to zero rotation will be continous and smooth. If Smooth or Stepped is selected as type, Rotation Steps will be read only.

Label Style
Label Style property is a GUIStyle and can be used to fine tune the visual appearance of the label.
